YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
More than 4 million Australians are currently experiencing poor sleep: disrupted, disordered or low quality sleep. The burden of
poor sleep extends beyond feeling tired the next day. It is a chronic problem affecting our overall health, wellbeing and performance at work and home. In fact, the sleep habits of Australians are deteriorating, with sleep difficulties and daytime fatigue, sleepiness and irritability among the most common sleep issues.
In addition to the day-to-day and long-term impact on individuals and families, poor sleep is also a major burden on communities which must count the cost of healthcare, reduced productivity due to sleep loss-related accidents and diminished quality of life.
An estimated $5.1 billion is spent in Australia each year on sleep disorders alone.
Yet the true cost of poor sleep is likely much higher considering that it is a common underlying cause of work-related injuries, accidents, mental health issues, diabetes and general ill health and is associated with premature death.
SLEEP IS COMPLICATED. WE MAKE IT SIMPLE.
Sleep is a natural part of our daily lives. Perhaps because life is already complicated enough without worrying about what should come naturally, few of us think about our sleep environment, our habits and how daily choices can influence the amount and quality of sleep we get.
The Sleep Fit Program is a multimedia education and awareness program that aims to simplify the science of sleep and help you create a sleep plan for a rejuvenated, healthier lifestyle and better performance in work and life.

ABOUT THE SLEEP FIT PROGRAM
“Toby’s presentation was highly accessible, relevant and meaningful to our student body. It has provided us with an ongoing awareness of the relationship between student/teacher performance and sleep, as well as a valuable reference point for counselling students that may be suffering from stress, issues with being late to school, or those lacking motivation. It also educated our parent community about the concerns they were witnessing at home on a daily basis.”
Brett Young / Leader of Learning and Year 11 coordinator at Cheltenham Secondary College
“Thank you very much Toby as I have learnt so much from your presentation. I wake up most mornings feeling energetic and happy, as before I was waking up still very tired. The information you have brought to me had a great impact on my life.”
